Materials
  • 2- by 18-inch piece of Styrofoam
  • Craft knife
  • Printed fabric
  • Solid-colored fabric
  • Glue
  • Four 14-inch pieces of ribbon

Instructions
  1. Bulletin Board Start with the 12- by 18-inch piece of Styrofoam. Use the craft knife to cut a 1/2-inch-deep groove 1 inch in from each edge (adults only).

  2. Bulletin Board Lay a 15- by 21-inch piece of solid-colored fabric atop the Styrofoam and use a butter knife to tuck some of the fabric into the groove. Then glue the loose edges to the back of the Styrofoam.

  3. Bulletin Board Center a piece of printed fabric on the covered board and tuck the edges into the groove so that they are no longer visible.

  4. Wrap a 14-inch ribbon around each corner of the board and glue down the ends. Lay another layer of ribbons on top of the board in a criss-cross fashion and tuck the ends into the groove. Lastly, glue on a ribbon hanger.
